Blogging Quick Start Reference

Updating Your Blog
	1) Go to your website. You were assigned a website address, Ex. http://yourblog.talkspot.com when you signed up
©2009	2) Click on the copyright notice at the bottom of the screen.
	3) Enter your email address and password
	4) Click on edit page. This sets you up to enter blog entries
	5) Click on ADD NEW ENTRY and a box will appear. Give your blog entry a title (ex: "Today at the beach"), and then start typing.
	6) Click on SUBMIT, to see how the entry looks that you just typed.
	7) Click on EDIT THIS ENTRY, to make changes
	8) If you want to send your blog to people who ask, you can click this button and everyone who has requested to receive your blog via email will be emailed. Don't do this until you are 100% happy with what you typed.
	That's it. You just updated your blog. Hundreds of millions of people worldwide can now read what you have to say.

Responding to comments
	Sometimes people comment on things that you say. This is half the fun of blogging. You can comment back and interact with your audience.
	Click this to change what someone said, if it is annoying. It's your site, let them get their own if they want to say annoying things.
	If someone says something really dumb - click this. It will go away
Post Comment	If someone says something worth commenting on, please do so! Let them know what you think.

Getting Fancy
	Your blog can get as fancy as you like. There are hundreds of fancy things you can do with formatting. For example, look for this button at the top of the screen. Clicking it gives a drop down menu. Choose some of the items on the list. Watch what happens! For even more formatting power, try swapping your whole layout from within your toolkit!
